Praying the Rosary for Priests

• three Hail Marys

Then we can meditate on the mystery of the rosary related to the day of the week

• Monday and Saturday: The Joyful Mysteries
• Tuesday and Friday: The Sorrowful Mysteries
• Wednesday and Sunday: The Glorious Mysteries
• Thursday: The Luminous Mysteries

Before starting the recitation of the decade, we can take the time to entrust a prayer intention. That is to say that we can, for example, select a priest from those around us every decade or for the entire rosary.

After each mystery meditation we say a decade of the rosary starting with an Our Father, then ten Hail Marys and ending with a Glory Be. 

Pray to the patron saint of all priests

Saint John Mary Vianney is the patron saint of all priests. His priesthood carried out with dedication in Ars, his homilies, his availability at the confessional, and his miracles made him a renowned man before being appointed the patron of all the priests in the world by Pope Pius XI in 1929.
