On the Faithfulness of God

Faithfulness is a virtue that refers to constancy and reliability, to keeping one's promises and commitments. A faithful person is someone you can rely on with complete trust and security.

Faithfulness is designated in the Bible as an attribute of God "Ascribe greatness to our God! He is the Rock" (Deuteronomy 32:3-4) and proclaimed in many biblical verses. God is thus named "the Rock", because His faithfulness transcends time and eras; God always keeps His promises to His people, His word does not change! His faithfulness, closely linked to His goodness and justice, is a bulwark and a shield, because in His love for us, the Lord never abandons us!

The Faithfulness of God is Eternal
