14 Bible Scriptures on God’s Faithfulness

What does God’s faithfulness mean? Faithfulness is a virtue connected to constancy and trustworthiness, describing a person who keeps their promises and whose word can be trusted. A faithful person is someone we can depend on with confidence and security.

Faithfulness in the Bible is described as a characteristic of God: I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. (Deuteronomy 32, 3-4) and praised in many bible verses. God is named “the rock” because his faithfulness transcends time and space ; God always keeps his promises to his people, and his word does not change! His faithfulness, closely connected to his generosity and his justice, is a shield, because in his love for us, the Lord will never abandon us!

Receive a daily loving word from our Father in Heaven.
