10 Bible Verses about Faith

The bible tells us that God loves those who have faith. Can we find this trust in God and be better in His eyes? “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:17). It's in the Gospel that we find the real faith that makes us right and gives us life. In the 33 years that Jesus lived on earth, He healed many sick people, exorcised demons, performed miracles, all through faith. He said Himself that through this faith that He gives us through scripture, we can move mountains. If you find yourself facing a challenge or you just want to strengthen your faith, here are 10 bible verses about belief in God.

10 Bible Verses about True Faith

What is faith?

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Who do we believe in?

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” (John 14:1)

Where does faith come from?

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

Faith is a new way of seeing things

“For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:7-8)

Faith speaks

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

Believing in your heart

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:10)

Faith saves

Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” (Luke 17:19)

Faith is what Jesus wants to find within us

“I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)

Ask with faith

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” (James 1:6-8)

The ally of faith is perseverance

“We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” (Hebrews 6:11-12)
