Prayers and Poems by Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa, throughout her life, wanted to show the immense love that Jesus has for every man, whatever his condition. Through her life she embodied him with the poorest in the slums of Calcutta and teaches us in her quotations and writings. Here are three beautiful texts by Mother Teresa that invite you to let yourself be loved and live your life to the fullest!

I love you as you are

Now I stand at the door and knock.

That's right! I stand at the door of your heart, day and night.

Even when you're not listening to me, even when you're not sure it's me, I'm here.

I expect the slightest sign of response from you, the slightest whisper of invitation, that will allow me to enter your home.

I want you to know that every time you invite me, I will really come.

I'll always be there, no mistake. Silent and invisible, I come, but with the infinite power of my love.

I come with my mercy, with my desire to forgive you, to heal you, with all the love that I have for you;

A love beyond all comprehension, a love where every heartbeat is the one I received from the Father himself.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.

I have come, thirsty to comfort you, to give you my strength, to rise up, to unite you to me, in all my wounds.

I will bring you my light. I come to remove the darkness and doubts from your heart. I come with my power capable of carrying you yourself and carrying all your burdens.

I come with my grace to touch your heart and transform your life.

I come with my peace, which will bring calm and serenity to your soul.

I know everything about you. Even the hair on your head, I counted it all.

Nothing in your life is without importance to me.

I know every one of your problems, your needs, your worries.

Yes, I know all your sins, but I tell you again: I love you, not for what you've done, not for what you haven't done.

I love you for yourself, for the beauty and dignity that my Father has given you by creating you in his image and likeness.

It is a dignity that you may have forgotten many times, a beauty that you have tarnished many times by sin, but I love you as you are.

Life is Life

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is life, fight for it.

Do it anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered, forgive them anyway...

If you're being nice, people can accuse you of being selfish and having ulterior thoughts, but be nice.

If you succeed, you will find fake friends and real enemies, succeed anyway...

If you're honest and honest, people may abuse you, but be honest and honest.

What you've taken years to build, someone could destroy in one night, build anyway...

If you find serenity and joy, they could be jealous, be happy anyway...

The good you do today, people will often forget it tomorrow, do the good anyway...

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough, give the world the best you have anyway...

You see, in making a final analysis, it's a story between you and God, it's never been between them and you.
