The apparition to Mary Magdalene
According to the canonical Gospels, Saint Mary Magdalene is the first person to see the resurrection of the Lord. This apparition takes place so soon after the Lord’s resurrection that Christ tells her, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.”
Apparitions to the apostles and disciples
Between the resurrection and the Ascension, a period of 40 days, Jesus appears very often throughout Palestine. He comes to strengthen his apostles and disciples in the faith and to give them a final teaching that they will proclaim to the world after the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Jesus appears to his apostles gathered together and then returns specifically for Saint Thomas, who was absent and remains incredulous. Christ gives strong signs: he asks the apostles to touch him, to put their hands in his wounds; he eats and drinks in front of them, so that no doubt remains about the reality of his risen and glorious body. Jesus appears to the disciples of Emmaus and explains to them everything in the Scriptures that refers to him.
Apparition of the Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary
Between 1673 and 1675, Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, a Visitation nun at Paray-le-Monial, has three great apparitions of Jesus. Christ comes to entrust to her revelations concerning his Passion and above all concerning the boundless Love that comes from his Sacred Heart. Through his messages to Margaret Mary, Jesus comes to reveal to the world the treasures that flow from his Heart so that all may come and draw from them and so that devotion to his Sacred Heart may be spread.
Apparition of Christ to Saint Faustina
Around the 1930s, Saint Faustina Kowalska, a Polish religious sister, has apparitions of Jesus, who comes to reveal to her the message of Divine Mercy. Between 1934 and 1938, Faustina wrote her Diary, in which she reported all the words of Jesus as well as her personal mystical experiences.

Apparitions of Jesus connected with the apparitions of the Virgin
For the past two centuries, Marian apparitions have multiplied all over the globe, and there is no place where the Virgin has not appeared. It is not uncommon for Jesus to appear alongside his Holy Mother; sometimes he is a small baby in her arms, sometimes he appears to be about twelve years old, or again as an adult. The little girls of Garabandal (1961–1966), for example, saw the Virgin with the Child Jesus many times. In Medjugorje (1981–present), the seers say they see the Virgin holding her Baby in her arms every December 25 for Christmas. In Zeitoun, in Egypt, Jesus was seen several times at different ages by the crowd gathered at the foot of the Coptic church. In Itapiranga in Brazil, the two seers Edson Glauber and his mother Maria do Carmo saw the Virgin, Christ, Saint Joseph and Saint Michael the Archangel, who entrusted many messages to them. In Soufanieh, in Syria, Myrna Nazzour had apparitions of the Virgin and also sees Christ during ecstasies; Jesus then entrusts her with messages to transmit to the world.
Apparitions of Jesus to chosen souls
Marthe Robin, Maria Valtorta, and Luisa Piccarreta are chosen souls, chosen souls, chosen souls by Jesus for particular missions. Apparitions of Jesus in 2022
Whether in 2020, 2021, 2022, or today, in 2024, various people on Earth claim to see Jesus regularly. It is essential to leave it to the Church to examine these alleged apparitions and to pronounce on their supernatural character or lack thereof, so as not to be led astray by deceptions or the demon’s trickery. The various seers must also obediently submit to the Church’s judgment. In general, the bishop of the diocese where the supernatural events take place opens an investigation, and a priest is appointed as the visionary’s spiritual guide. Thus, the Church provides spiritual oversight for ongoing events and guarantees that any messages conform to the Church’s teaching. In any case, the Church cannot issue a definitive judgment as long as the events have not come to an end. Several of these people are currently being seriously guided by the Church hierarchy and are delivering messages to the world for our time.
