Novena with Saint John Paul II
Let us pray for the defence and protection of the dignity of the human being. In the footsteps of John Paul II, may we become apostles of the civilization of love. "Be not afraid!"
With John Paul II, let us ask Our Lady to grant us the courage to be brave and audacious apostles and advocate relentlessly for the protection of the human being, from conception to natural death.

The first words of his pontificate were "Be not afraid!" Even today, whether as a simple citizen or in a position with responsibilities (politics, health, education, etc.), let these words resound again and again in our minds.
Use of medical progress to inflict death (such as in abortion, eugenism, and euthanasia), medically-assisted procreation, gestation by proxy, slavery, transhumanism, etc.: all are realities of our time that transform a human being, a soul, into a mere mercantile commodity. These practices have always been condemned by John Paul II, and he fought against them tirelessly in an attempt to protect human dignity, in his writings, his discourses, his meetings, even in his death.
This novena is translated from French. The original novena, written by Juliette, can be found here.
