Planted by the Water

Every day

A contemplative journey through the daily Catholic readings. Here we breathe the Word, rest in Christ, and grow quietly like trees planted by living water.

Planted by the Water

A Daily Lectio Divina rooted in the Catholic liturgy

This is a contemplative space dedicated to praying with the daily readings of the Catholic Church.

Each day we enter the Word slowly — through lectio, meditatio, oratio, and contemplatio — allowing Scripture to move from the page into the heart, and from the heart into daily life.

Here, we do not rush the text or reduce it to explanations.

We listen.

We remain.

We allow Christ to reveal Himself in the quiet.

This community is for those who long to root their lives in the living water of the Word — in the midst of ordinary responsibilities, work, family, fatigue, and hope.

Alongside reflection, there is space for embodied prayer: small movements, breaths, and gestures offered in communion with Christ, because faith is not only thought — it is lived, breathed, and carried in the body.

We come not to perform spirituality, but to be planted.

And to grow, patiently, together.

Community prayer

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
