Hi all,

During the month of November, and indeed anytime throughout the year, we pray for our loved ones who have gone before us, and also especially pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

St. Gertrude the Great is invoked often for prayers for the poor souls in purgatory. Jesus Christ promised St. Gertrude that He would release 1,000 souls from purgatory every time this prayer is said with love and devotion. Eternal Father, I offer thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus in union with all the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my own family.
