Sulema and the Illumination of Consciences (The Warning)

Sulema is a Salvadoran mother living in Canada. Since 1992, she has received interior locutions from Jesus specifically announcing an upcoming event for all humanity: the illumination of consciences, and instructing how to prepare. At her spiritual director's request, Sulema published three books containing all messages from Jesus so others may spiritually prepare.

Who Is Sulema?
Sulema was born in 1954 in El Salvador. Married to Sabino Alas Gómez, they have two children. Since 1981, they have lived in Sherbrooke, Canada. Since 1992, Sulema claims to receive interior locutions from Christ and the Virgin Mary—meaning she hears Jesus speak internally in French (her second language). She has been guided by spiritual directors: Fr. Marcel (d. 2001) and Fr. Rubén Riveros, who asked her to publish the revelations. The locutions were published in 2012 as "I Come to Prepare You for This Event: The Illumination of Consciences". Fr. Guy Giroux also advises her.
The Catholic Church's Position
Sulema's writings were submitted to her parish priest and diocesan bishop, who have not yet issued a statement. The Catholic Church has made no definitive judgment on Sulema's revelations. Her spiritual director Fr. Rubén Riveros stated:
"After reading these messages of love and tenderness, I find nothing contrary to Catholic faith. Every invitation to conversion brings heavenly blessings; let us draw grace from this Trinitarian and Marian blessing."
What Is the Illumination of Consciences?
Contemporary private revelations speak of an upcoming event called the 'illumination of consciences' or 'the Warning'—the final act of . This unique, universal event will last minutes. During it, every person will have a mystical experience seeing their soul's state—a personal judgment for all humanity simultaneously. This resembles near-death experiences (NDEs). It is humanity's last chance to repent, return to God, and obey His commandments.

"I come to warn you, to give you light, so you may be ready, in a state of grace, when everything stops and you enter this movement of love.
Through the Holy Spirit, you will enter within and see in your heart your Jesus in His Holiness and Glory. All of you will see Me, wherever you are. Do not think this is for a future generation. No, you are chosen by the Father to live this unique event in human history; you will live this encounter.
It will be joy for those in a state of grace, for my little remnant.
But it will be a warning for those who closed their hearts, who refuse to acknowledge Me as God.
You will see yourselves through My eyes, seeing where sins led you. Hell exists, Purgatory exists, as Heaven exists. These are neither myths nor legends. Believe! Thank My Most Holy Mother, for She obtained this singular grace of the illumination—mercy's final act.
Yes, I am Love, I am Mercy, but I am also Justice. Prepare yourselves. I come not to frighten you, but because I love you and want you ready."
Virgin Mary's Message About the Illumination
"Yes, my child, prepare to live this change that children of light will experience specially. This event is for all earth's children, but you will live it differently. What causes confusion, fear, distress for others will bring you joy—sensing the One your heart loves. I speak of the illumination of consciences, what others call the Warning. Continue reciting acts of contrition when needed, and hasten to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation for God's pardon and grace.
I do not say this happens soon. Certain events must precede it—natural events; yes, an icy cold unknown to my children will envelop you..."
