Why join us?

Extending forgiveness to others is one of the most powerful things we can do as Christians… and also one of the most difficult.

While forgiveness is a gift and a grace that we can offer to our offenders, we don't forgive for their sake; we forgive for ours. Choosing to forgive unlocks for us an unparalleled freedom, allowing us to advance forward in our lives by leaps and bounds.

This retreat is a hope-filled guide to apprehending that freedom.

Created with practicality in mind, The Process of Forgiveness retreat will help you understand the nature and power of forgiveness, identify indicators of unforgiveness in your life, and receive step-by-step guidance in walking through the process of forgiving others.

What to expect in this 5-day retreat

The aim of this retreat is to accompany you into greater freedom by helping you identify any areas where unforgiveness might be holding you back, and empowering you with hope, encouragement, and the practical steps to walk through the process of forgiving.

Utilizing a collection of videos and writings from Catholic Revival Ministries, over the course of 5 days, the retreat will unpack the foundational principles of forgiveness, culminating in a step-by-step guided prayer that will invite you to walk through the forgiveness process yourself.

Each day of the retreat, you will receive:

  • a teaching, either in video format (15 min long each) or written format
  • reflection questions to help you apply the teaching to your life
  • a simple prayer inviting an outpouring of God's grace

On day 3 of the retreat, in lieu of a teaching and reflection questions, you will receive a video that will prayerfully guide you step-by-step through your own process of forgiving.

Our hope is that you will encounter the Lord during this time, and not only grow in understanding, but also apprehend the freedom and healing that forgiveness can unlock.

Prayer from the retreat

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And let us not enter into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
