Three Beautiful Prayers to Saint George to Ask for His Pr...
Saint George, the great military leader who slew the dragon and died a martyr for his faith, protects all who pray to him fervently. In this respect, he is reminiscent of another great saint, the leader of the heavenly host: Saint Michael!
Here, then, are three beautiful prayers for protection to recite in order to receive his strength, courage, and help.
Prayer to Saint George for Courage
“Saint George, heroic Catholic warrior and protector of the faith, you risked speaking out against a tyrannical ruler and were subjected to terrible torture. You could have held a high military position, but you chose instead to die for your Lord; obtain for us the great grace of heroic Christian courage that must characterize the soldiers of Christ. Amen.”
Prayer to Saint George for Protection Through His Strength
“I will walk clothed and armed with the armor of Saint George so that my adversaries may not reach me with their feet, may not seize me with their hands, may not see me with their eyes, and may not even harm me with their thoughts.
Firearms will not strike my body; knives and spears will shatter if they strike my body; ropes and chains will break without binding my body. God will protect and defend me with the power of His holy and divine grace.
Virgin of Nazareth, cover me with your sacred and divine mantle; protect me in all my sorrows and afflictions; and may God, with His divine mercy and great power, be my defender against evil or the persecution of my enemies.
Blessed Saint George, in the name of God, raise your shield and your most powerful weapons; protect me with your strength and your greatness, and may my enemies remain humble and submissive before you.
So be it, through the power of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Amen"

Prayer to Ask for Saint George’s Help
“Blessed be my God, my protector, my Creator. Blessed be all the saints.
Blessed be the most blessed Saint George, who deigns, from the heights of heaven, to cast upon us—poor sinners who implore him—a merciful gaze and to enlighten us with the holy light he bestows upon the world through the example of his virtues.
O Saint George, great Saint George, grant that each of these may penetrate our souls. May they bring us closer to one another throughout our lives.
Be our guide and protect us until our final hour.
O Saint George, I need your help, harmony, and peace to act with the forces of good for the progress of the world.
O Saint George, grant me (state your prayer)
Thank you, Saint George, thank you, thank you, thank you.”
