God's infusion in acts – Part 2

Jesus, rest your gaze upon me, prepare my soul to receive the kiss of your union, cleanse me. May we live this prayer together, united in every way, in body, in soul, in love and in free will. May this encounter between love created and Love uncreated be a source of Life for all. In this way, hidden in your Love, all the created dissolves in the ardent fire of Love uncreated. Amen. FIAT.

"For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few." (Mt, 7:14)

Passage from “Book of Heaven” by Luisa Piccarreta, the Little Daughter of the Divine Will – 3 March 1927 – second section

The creature in whom the Divine Will reigns calls God to operate together with her. The offering of one's actions to God purifies them.

“As soon as man withdrew from Our Will,
he fell ill
and lost the happiness,
the untiring strength,
the capacity and the taste to enjoy the happiness of his acts,
that the Divine Will had invested with so much love.

“This happens also between one who is healthy and one who is sick:
the first enjoys the food,
works with more energy,
takes pleasure in amusing himself,
in strolling around,
in chatting;
the one who is sick feels disgust for food,
feels no strength to work,
is bored by amusements,
chatting bothers him
– everything is bad for him;
the sickness has changed his nature, his acts, into pains.
Now, suppose that the sick person returned to the vigor of his health:
his strengths, his taste – everything would be restored in him.

“So, going out of My Will has been the cause of his illness;
returning into It and letting It reign
will be the cause of the return to the order of happiness into the human acts,
and of letting It take Its attitude in the acts of the creature.

And as she offers her work,
the food she takes,
and everything she does,
from within those human acts is unleashed
the happiness that was places in those acts by My Will,
and it rises to her Creator to give Him the glory of His own Happiness.

This is why the creature in whom My Will reigns
not only calls Me to operate together with her,
but gives Me the honor, the glory of that very happiness
with which We invested the human acts.
And even if the creature should not possess
all the fullness of the Unity of the Light of My Will,
as long as she offers her acts to her Creator as homage and adorations
– since she is the one who is sick, not God –
God receives the Glory of the happiness of her human acts.

“Imagine a sick person who did some work
or took a food of his and gave it to someone who is healthy.
The one who enjoys the fullness of health perceives nothing
– neither the tiredness of that work,
nor the hardship that the sick person experienced in doing it,
nor the disgust for that food that the sick person would have felt, had he taken it.
On the contrary,
in the fullness of his health,
he enjoys the good, the glory
and the happiness that that work will bring to him,
and he enjoys the food that has been offered to him.

In the same way,
the offering of one's actions purifies, disinfects, the human actions,
and God receives the glory due to Him, and, in return,
He makes new graces descend upon she who offers her actions to Him.”

Let us pray

(Prayer of infusion in the Divine Will)

I am nothing! God is All… Father, I love you!

O Divine Will, come think with my mind,

O Divine Will, come flowing in my blood,

O Divine Will, come breathe in my breath,

O Divine Will, come and beat in my heart,

O Divine Will, come and look through my eyes,

O Divine Will, come and listen with my ears,

O Divine Will, come and talk with my voice,

O Divine Will, come and move through my movements,

O Divine Will, come and watch over my sleep and teach me while I rest

O Divine Will, come and suffer through my suffering, so that my soul

consumed and merged with You, may be a crucifix living for the Glory of the Father,

O Divine Will, come and pray within me and receive this prayer as mine.

Add the prayers the world, to give the Father the Glory that all creatures owe Him.

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's faith, so that I may believe in You like Her,

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's hope, so that I may hope in You like Her,

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's charity, so that I may love You like Her,

O Divine Will, come pray and adore like Jesus in His Divine Humanity.

Come, O Divine Will, You know how to multiply our actions to infinity, come offer in me the Holy Sacrifice of the Cross, as if everyone had attended.

Come and distribute to all the fruits of this Divine Sacrifice, to grant salvation to all.

Amen. FIAT

Community prayer

Act of Spiritual Communion (by Mgr Raymond Centène)

Lord Jesus, I firmly believe that You are present in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. I love You more than anything and I desire You with all my soul. “My body longs for you, like a dry, weary land without water.” (Psalm 62) I want to receive You today with all the love of the Virgin Mary, with the joy and the fervor of the Saints. Since I am prevented from receiving You sacramentally, come at least spiritually to visit my soul. In this time of absence, may this Eucharistic fast to which I am subjected bring me in communion with Your sufferings, especially with the feeling of abandon that You felt on the Cross when You cried out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” May this sacramental fast bring me in communion with the sentiments of Your Most Holy Mother and of St Joseph when they lost You in the temple of Jerusalem; with the sentiments of Your Holy Mother when she received You, lifeless, at the foot of the Cross. May this Eucharistic fast bring me in communion with the suffering of Your mystical Body, the Church, throughout the world where persecution, or the absence of priests, are obstacles to sacramental life. May this Eucharistic fast bring me to understand that the Eucharist is an over-abundant gift of Your love and not a given for my spiritual comfort. May this Eucharistic fast be a reparation for all the times when I received you with a heart that was badly prepared, cold, indifferent, without love nor thanksgiving. May this Eucharistic fast ever increase my hunger to receive You truly and substantially in Your body, Your blood, Your soul and Your divinity when the circumstances will allow me. And until then, Lord Jesus, come to visit us spiritually through Your grace to strengthen us in our trials. Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.
