God's infusion in acts – Part 1

Jesus, rest your gaze upon me, prepare my soul to receive the kiss of your union, cleanse me. May we live this prayer together, united in every way, in body, in soul, in love and in free will. May this encounter between love created and Love uncreated be a source of Life for all. In this way, hidden in your Love, all the created dissolves in the ardent fire of Love uncreated. Amen. FIAT.

"And I will lead the blind in a way that they know not, (...) I will turn the darkness before them into light” (Is, 42:16)

Passage from “Book of Heaven” by Luisa Piccarreta, the Little Daughter of the Divine Will – 3 March 1927 – first section

The creature in whom the Divine Will reigns calls God to operate together with her. The offering of one's actions to God purifies them.

I was offering my little acts as homage of adoration and of love to the Supreme Volition, and I thought to myself: “But, is its really true
that whatever the soul who does the Divine Will does,
God Himself does?
What glory can He receive – after I have offered to Him my little work and everything I may do – from coming to do it together with me?”

And my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me:
“My daughter, don't you feel Me within you, as I follow your acts?

Indeed, wherever My Will reigns,
all things,
even the most little and natural,
convert into delight
for Me and for the creature,
because they are the effect of a Divine Will reigning in her,
that cannot issue from Itself even a shadow of unhappiness.

Even more, you must know that,
in Creation,
Our Supreme Fiat established all the human acts,
investing them with delight, with joy and with happiness.
So, work itself was to be of no burden for man,
nor give him a shadow of tiredness,
because, by possessing My Will,
he possessed the strength that never tires and never fails.

“See, created things also are symbol of this.
Does the sun perhaps tire of always giving its light? Certainly not.
Does the sea tire of murmuring continuously, of forming its waves, of nourishing and multiplying its fish? Certainly not.
Do the heavens tire of remaining always stretched out, or the earth of flowering? Certainly not.

But why do they not get tired?
Because in them there is the power of the Divine Fiat,
that has the strength that is never exhausted.
Therefore, all the human acts enter the order of all created things,
and all of them receive the mark of happiness:
the work, the food, the sleep, the word, the gaze, the step – everything.

“Now, as long as man remained in Our Will,
he remained holy and healthy, full of vigor and of untiring strength
– capable of enjoying the happiness of his acts,
and of delighting He who gave him so much happiness."

Let us pray

(Prayer of infusion in the Divine Will)

I am nothing! God is All… Father, I love you!

O Divine Will, come think with my mind,

O Divine Will, come flowing in my blood,

O Divine Will, come breathe in my breath,

O Divine Will, come and beat in my heart,

O Divine Will, come and look through my eyes,

O Divine Will, come and listen with my ears,

O Divine Will, come and talk with my voice,

O Divine Will, come and move through my movements,

O Divine Will, come and watch over my sleep and teach me while I rest

O Divine Will, come and suffer through my suffering, so that my soul

consumed and merged with You, may be a crucifix living for the Glory of the Father,

O Divine Will, come and pray within me and receive this prayer as mine.

Add the prayers the world, to give the Father the Glory that all creatures owe Him.

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's faith, so that I may believe in You like Her,

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's hope, so that I may hope in You like Her,

O Divine Will, come and infuse me with Most Holy Mary's charity, so that I may love You like Her,

O Divine Will, come pray and adore like Jesus in His Divine Humanity.

Come, O Divine Will, You know how to multiply our actions to infinity, come offer in me the Holy Sacrifice of the Cross, as if everyone had attended.

Come and distribute to all the fruits of this Divine Sacrifice, to grant salvation to all.

Amen. FIAT

Act of Spiritual Communion (by Mgr Raymond Centène)

Lord Jesus, I firmly believe that You are present in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. I love You more than anything and I desire You with all my soul. “My body longs for you, like a dry, weary land without water.” (Psalm 62) I want to receive You today with all the love of the Virgin Mary, with the joy and the fervor of the Saints. Since I am prevented from receiving You sacramentally, come at least spiritually to visit my soul. In this time of absence, may this Eucharistic fast to which I am subjected bring me in communion with Your sufferings, especially with the feeling of abandon that You felt on the Cross when You cried out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” May this sacramental fast bring me in communion with the sentiments of Your Most Holy Mother and of St Joseph when they lost You in the temple of Jerusalem; with the sentiments of Your Holy Mother when she received You, lifeless, at the foot of the Cross. May this Eucharistic fast bring me in communion with the suffering of Your mystical Body, the Church, throughout the world where persecution, or the absence of priests, are obstacles to sacramental life. May this Eucharistic fast bring me to understand that the Eucharist is an over-abundant gift of Your love and not a given for my spiritual comfort. May this Eucharistic fast be a reparation for all the times when I received you with a heart that was badly prepared, cold, indifferent, without love nor thanksgiving. May this Eucharistic fast ever increase my hunger to receive You truly and substantially in Your body, Your blood, Your soul and Your divinity when the circumstances will allow me. And until then, Lord Jesus, come to visit us spiritually through Your grace to strengthen us in our trials. Maranatha, come Lord Jesus.
