Day 9
Act of contrition
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Saviour Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.
Pray
Lord God, it has pleased you to fill us with innumerable favours by putting us under the special protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Grant us, your humble servants, who rejoices to honor her on earth, the joy of seeing her face to face in heaven. Grant me this grace, I ask you humbly... (State your intention)
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory to the Father.

This is an invitation to delve into the mystery of the Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which has remained unfathomable ever since 1531 – definitely the most amazing, lasting miracle of the Virgin Mary: a trace of her real face.
Various scientific studies have highlighted the surprisingly contemporary dimension of the Image in a wide range of fields: optics, ophthalmology, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, orography and music – yet another example which goes to show that science always has some bearing on the apparitions of the Virgin, and, more generally speaking, on the Christian religion, whether in Guadalupe or other holy places.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. Col 4:6
