DAY 6: Short Meditation of the Day
Leonie, the 3rd daughter of the Martin family, was unable to follow the path of her sisters when everything was working out for them. She endured pain and misery during her schooling, was unstable in her choices. However, she was very diligent in learning from Therese on her 'little path'. Far from being afraid of it, she would learn to love her dear poverty. "When I'm in heaven, I'll take care of Leonie" said Therese.
Therese, you kept your word for your sister, the lame duck among the Martin sisters. After your entry into heaven, you took care of Leonie who entered the covent of Visitation. She would never leave it and was your best disciple. She knew she was poor, but she learned how to offer herself to the love of God, just like you Therese. To this God who has given himself, she gave herself without reserve.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. Col 4:6
