Consecration of our origins
'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you.' (Jeremiah 1,5)
Invocation to the Holy Spirit
In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Fire and light gleaming on the face of Christ,
Fire whose coming is word, Fire whose silence is light,
Fire who ascertains hearts in thanksgiving,
We glorify You, Spirit who rests in Christ,
Spirit of Wisdom and mind, Spirit of guidance and strength,
Spirit of science and fear, we glorify You.
You explore the depths of God, You illuminate the eyes of our heart,
You join our spirit, by You we reflect the glory of the Lord,
We glorify You.
- St. Ephrem
Psalm 138 (139)
[...]You formed my inmost being;/you knit me in my mother's womb./I praise you, because I am wonderfully made;/wonderful are your works!/My very self you know./My bones are not hidden from you,/When I was being made in secret,/fashioned in the depths of the earth./Your eyes saw me unformed;/in your book all are written down;/my days were shaped, before one came to be./[...]Probe me, God, know my heart; try me, know my thoughts./See if there is a wicked path in me;/lead me along an ancient path.
Reading: John 3: 5-8
Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I told you, 'You must be born from above.' The wind blows where it wills, and you can hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.
Meditation
As in the order of nature, a child must have a father and mother, so likewise in the order of grace, a true child of the Church must have God for his Father and Mary for his Mother; and if anyone should glory in having God for his Father and yet has not the love of a true child for Mary, he is a deceiver, and the only father he has is the devil.
Since Mary has formed Jesus Christ, the Head of the elect, it is also her office to form the members of that Head, that is to say, all true Christians; for a mother does not form the head without the members, nor the members without the head. Whoever, therefore, wishes to be a member of Jesus Christ, full of grace and truth, must be formed in Mary by means of the grace of Jesus Christ, which she possesses in its fullness, in order to communicate it fully to her children, the true members of Jesus Christ.
St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, The Secret of Mary, §11-12.
Prayer of consecration
Blessed are you Virgin Mary, you carried in your womb the Son of the Eternal Father! In the same way the child turns towards his mother, I am turning towards you: I lay at your feet my relationship with my parents, since the first moment of my conception. May all the moral, affective and spiritual heritage I received from my family be purified, so that I may fully identify as a child of God. O Mother, blessed among all mothers, gather in the same faith and the same love all scattered children of God.
Pray a chaplet decade.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. Col 4:6
