Day thirty-one - Let us make room in our heart
Dear Participants,
Welcome to day thirty-one of our retreat! Today's topic is about making room for the Lord in our heart.
Mary is the best helper for that purpose. She helped Father Lamy in this process, which taught him to look at everyone with the loving eyes of the Lord, beyond the outer shell, beyond the merits and the flaws, and to see what God sees in His love plan.
"So shall your God rejoice in you." Isaiah 62,5 - with the consequence that this entails.
The Marian life of oration, personal relationship, openness to the light of God, gives us the certitude that God can be with us. Emmanuel - God is with us - made Savior, helps us rise, not in some magical way, but by bestowing on us His presence and His might.
