Day seven: The gift of Reconciliation

The Word of God :
On the evening of the Resurrection, Jesus stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace be with you! Just as the Father sent me, so I send you.” When he had thus spoken, he blew on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. To whom you will forgive his sins, they will be forgiven; to whom you will keep his sins, they will be maintained.” (John 20, 21-23).
Litany of our Lord Jesus Christ Priest and Victim:
Through that ministry whereby You glorified Your Father on earth, deliver us, Jesus
Through the bloody immolation of Yourself made once and for all upon the Cross, deliver us, Jesus
Through that divine power which You exercise invisibly in Your priests, deliver us, Jesus
Intention of prayer for a priest:
O Christ, you who have associated Father N... with your priesthood, grant him to be a relentless minister of the sacrament of reconciliation, following the example of his patron saint, St. John Vianney.
Our father...
Hail Mary...
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost ...
Saint John Vianney, pray for our priests.
Take a moment to treasure up all these things and ponder them in your heart (cf Luke 2,19)

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. Col 4:6
