Gift of Wisdom:

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” (James 3:17)

Come Holy Spirit:

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful.

And kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.

And you will renew the face of the earth.

Let Us Pray:

Holy Spirit grant the American people and myself the gift of wisdom to help us choose right from wrong, uphold the truth, and seek the common good for all. 

May we use the teachings of Jesus when evaluating how we interact with each other and may you shine your holy light upon all people and help Americans to act as Jesus would.
