Tips for writing a post

Hello, young editor!

After creating your prayer community on Hozana and inviting your entire network to join, it is now time to schedule posts to animate your community. The people who have signed up for your proposal will receive your publications on their prayer corner. They are eagerly awaiting a new publication from your community to pray!

Here are some useful tips from the team to animate your community:

Frequency

Be sure to stick to the posting frequency you've indicated in your community description 👌 (a post every day, or every week, every month, once in a while, etc.)

Title

Choose a short, punchy title (in lower case). Example: Day 1 - Novena to Saint Michael.

Image

You can put an image (this step is optional: it is better not to put an image than to put one of poor quality or to repeat the same image every day).

Content

Take care of the content and the form of your publications!

Stick to the format and schedule you proposed in the description ❕ (ex: each day you will receive a video and a written prayer è make sure you put both in each publication).

For the content of the publication 📝:

You can use text, audio, videos or insert images.

In any case, we advise you to structure your publication in several parts using

• The "title" mode for large sub-sections (e.g.: "the video of the day", "the prayer of the day"
  

• The "important" format (orange) to highlight a part of the text
  

• The "quotations" format when you quote (an author, the word of God, etc.)
  
• Bold or italicize your text when relevant

Pray

At the end of your publication, we advise you to add a sentence inviting people to click on the "I pray" button to take the community's prayer.

Verification

If you have put links to an outside site within your publication, check that these links are working! An error quickly happened :) And also make sure to refer the prayers to a secure site: the site link must start with "https: //".

Scheduling

Finally, schedule your publication for the most appropriate day and time:

For now ⌚, we advise you to schedule your publications at 4 or 5 am, to ensure that early risers can pray with you and that your publication is part of the "prayer corner of the day" email that we send daily to the prayers (which gathers all the new publications of the prayer communities to which each prayer belongs).
