Morning meditation to awaken your energy with God

For a bright, positive day, lived to the full and with enthusiasm, there's nothing better than taking a few minutes in the morning to recharge your batteries! Here's a guided meditation to start the day with zest and dynamism. With the one who gives us his strength, let's dare to open our wings and soar!

Guided meditation to welcome new strength

In my body ...

I sit with my back straight and my head raised slightly upwards, looking proud and confident.

I gently tilt my head back and forth, then from left to right. I repeat several times.

I rotate my shoulders back and forth, then back and forth.

I'm now going to breathe deliberately hard, expanding my chest exaggeratedly as I inhale. I inhale through my nose, and exhale through my mouth. I do this over two or three breathing cycles, then let my breathing resume its normal rhythm.

I'll then squeeze my strong points, and stretch my hands and fingers as much as possible.

I repeat this exercise twice, before letting my hands relax.

After these little exercises, I take the time to feel my body, alive, toned and ready to get moving.

... and in my soul!

I invite the Lord to join me. Or rather, I join him, who is waiting for me at every moment. To do this, I can simply talk to him, become aware of his presence with me this morning.

I read - aloud if possible - this passage from chapter 40 of the book of Isaiah. I take the time to read. I pause in my reading to let the words resonate within me. I can reread this passage several times if I feel the need.:

"Israel, why do you keep saying, 'The Lord doesn't notice what's happening to me. My good right escapes my God"? Don't you know? Have you not heard it said?
The Lord is God from century to century; he created the earth from one end to the other. He never falters, never grows weary. His intelligence knows no bounds.
He restores strength to the weak, and fills the weary with vigor. Even the young know fatigue and failure; even champions sometimes stumble.
But those who rely on the Lord receive new strength; like eagles soaring on wings, they soar, but without growing weary, they advance, but without faltering.
"

I become aware that the Lord is present this morning, and that he wishes to take advantage of this time I'm offering him to give me new strength for this new day. Indeed, the Bible proclaims: Those who rely on the Lord receive new strength; like eagles soaring on wings, they soar, but without growing weary, they advance, but without faltering

I can repeat this verse softly. Let it sink into me.

Those who rely on the Lord receive new strength.

I take the time to talk to the Lord, in the silence of my heart. I can confide in him the challenges of my day, tell him that I'm counting on him: "I'm counting on you Lord, I have faith in you".

I end by thanking the Lord for the strength he gives me, and for this day that is beginning!
