Worldwide Pilgrimage of Hope

In these times of worldwide unrest and instability, let us be united in prayer, imploring the intercession of the saints, to give us hope and guidance for every country and everyone!

It seems that every country is in turmoil. Let us unite heaven and earth by imploring the saints for their intercession and guidance for the needs of every country in these times of instability.

Covid, war, famine, unemployment, political unrest, and last but not least the non-existence of God ! Our world is upside down and no one knows what tomorrow will bring. As Christians, may we not forget that God, our heavenly Father, loves His children and knows what is best for them. He has a plan for each of us and the world that we live in. Let us give Him the chance to speak to our hearts and lead us to salvation. Let the heavenly body of Saints guide us in our choices for the future of the world we live in.

Remember what St. Therese of Lisieux said,
“When I die, I will send down a shower of roses from the heavens,I will spend my heaven by doing good on earth.”
And Carlos Acutis, just recently beatified, who said, “When we face the sun we get a tan… but when we stand before Jesus in the Eucharist we become saints.”

May we all stand strong, putting aside our differences, united as Christians, in the belief that prayer can change the world and make it a better place. Let us live in hope and not fear.

Every Tuesday and Friday you will receive:

  • The name of the Country to pray for.

  • The name of a Saint from that country and what they are known for.

  • A short verse from the Bible to meditate upon.

  • A challenge of the day.

  • A litany or prayer of the Saint.

Prayer from the community

God, give us light!

O God, when evil darkens our world, give us light. When despair numbs our souls, give us hope. When we stumble and fall, lift us up. When doubts assail us, give us faith. When nothing seems sure, give us trust. When ideals fade, give us vision. When we lose our way, be our guide! That we may find serenity in Your presence, and purpose in doing Your will. Christ, light of light, brightness indescribable, the Wisdom, power and glory of God, the Word made flesh: you overcame the forces of Satan, redeemed the world, then ascended again to the Father. Grant me, I pray, in this tarnished world, the shining of your splendor. Send your Archangel Michael to defend me, to guard my going out and coming in, and to bring me safely to your presence, where you reign in the one holy and undivided Trinity. Amen.
