Opening Prayer for Each Day Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. Lord Jesus Christ, You promised the gift of the Holy Spirit to those who ask. In these nine days of prayer, open my heart to receive a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Teach me to live in intimacy with the Father, surrender to Your Lordship, and walk in the power and love of the Holy Spirit for the sake of the Church and the salvation of souls. Amen.
