What exactly is a miracle ?
The word "miracle" comes from the Latin word for wonder and, literally means "a sight to behold."
A miracle is a supernatural sign or wonder, performed by God to help us believe in Him and His loving plan for salvation. As a sign, a miracle is peceived by the senses. Miracles are a call to FAITH. They are a learning experience for us. They point to something that God wants us to know or believe about Himself.
Do you believe in miracles ?
Whether we are a Christian or not, most of us have heard of unexplainable healings that have happened in someone's life. Worldwide, people travel to santuaries such as Lourdes in France or Medjugoria in Bosnia hoping for a miracle to heal themselves or a loved one. You may know someone who has needed housing or financial help and were helped in the most unexpected way !
Maybe you have been praying for a miracle and your prayer hasn't been answered so you're starting to doubt and loose faith and wonder why isn't God answering your prayers ! However, you musn't give up ! Praying isn't a waste of time. God knows you better than you know yourself. He is your heavenly Father and he knows exactly what you need !
Every problem, depression, and dispair in your life is simply a miracle waiting to happen ! God let's them happen to see if you'll lift your head UP ! Every problem is an opportunity from God. He wants to make something beautiful out of your life.
Suffering is such a difficult thing for us to understand. It's usually because of these very painful and stressing moments that we learn how to pray from the heart in ernest and experience God's infinite mercy.
The Greatest Miracle !
God so loves us that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to heal us, to teach us and give us His unconditional LOVE and MERCY. God let His only Son die on the Cross to save us. Jesus took upon Himself ALL of our sins (past, present and future). This is why He is called "Our Saviour" ! Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to be with His Father. No other miracle is greater than that !
Let go and let God !
God is at your side 24/7 just waiting for you to say the word go ! He loves you unconditionally. He knows your every thought and action. BUT He will only intervene in your life if you ask Him.
