A Love Letter

Saint Gregory the Great wrote that the Bible is a love letter addressed to us by God, it is meant to fascinate us. Have you ever exchanged love messages with someone else via text or email?

And when you do receive one such message, don't you have to read it immediately?

What would happen were we to treat the Bible as we treat our mobile phone? Were we to always carry it with us, or at least a small, pocket-sized Gospel, what would happen? [...] Were we to read God's messages contained in the Bible as we read telephone messages, what would happen? [...] Indeed, if we had God's Word always in our heart, no temptation could separate us from God, and no obstacle could divert us from the path of good (Pope Francis, in his noon address of March 5th, 2017 for the prayer of the Angelus)

And from now on, we make it easy for you to read the Bible!

Not sure where to start to read the Bible?

Here is a step-by-step road map that will lead you to a prayerful reading of the Holy Scriptures, in a structured and fruitful format.

Prayer from the retreat

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And let us not enter into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
