Day 5: Our Lady Untier of Knots Novena
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend You, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life.
Amen.
Recite the first three decades of the Holy Rosary.
Meditation
“Mother who unties knots,” you who are generous
and full of compassion,
I turn to you to place, once again,
this “knot” into your hands (name it if possible...).
I ask you for the wisdom of God,
that I may succeed
in the light of the Holy Spirit
in untying this tangle of difficulties.
No one has ever seen you angry;
on the contrary, your words
are so full of sweetness that in you
we meet the Holy Spirit.
Free me from the bitterness,
from the anger and hatred
that this “knot” has caused me.
My beloved Mother, give me your sweetness
and your wisdom,
teach me to meditate in the silence of my heart
and just as you did on the day of Pentecost,
intercede with Jesus
that I may receive the Holy Spirit.
“Mary untier of knots,” pray for me.
Mary is powerful in the presence of God.
Recite the last two decades of the Holy Rosary.
