Let us accomplish all our actions under his sight
“We must acquire the awareness that God is present in the most intimate state of our being and with this assurance we must undertake every action with Him. It is then that nothing is insignificant because even in our most ordinary actions we are not lost in them, we sublime them.” (Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity, Spiritual writings).
The outer world pollutes our mind. Worldly matters prevent us from tending to the temple of God, i.e. prevents us from having an inner life. “To be aware that God is present in the most intimate state of our being” helps us enter in His presence through prayer. The awareness of the Lord's presence allows us to act in every way under his sight and be more attentive to the Holy Spirit.
Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity, we turn to you, pray for us.
