Come Holy Spirit and Fill us With Your Gift of Fortitude!
Let us begin by praying the above Pentecost Prayer to the left of the above image requested by Mother Mary in the Church Approved, “The Lady of All Nations” message for the New Worldwide Pentecost which God has promised us in Joel 3 - ending with - "Come Holy Spirit come through the powerful intercession of Your well-beloved spouse, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and fill us with Your gift of Fortitude and Truth of You Lord Who crushes the sin of gluttony within us!" Alleluia!
2 days to the feast of Pentecost! - The great celebration of God's Holy Spirit, Sacrificial Love Poured Out into Our Hearts! – Woohooo! 😊
Hope does not disappoint because the Love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us! (Romans 5:5)
Today we pray asking God, Who is Truth itself, to fill our hearts with the Gift of His Holy Spirit of Fortitude which crushes the sin of Gluttony within us!
The Gift of the Holy Spirit of Fortitude crushes the sin of gluttony because it gives us courage to die to the desires of our flesh. As God's Word in Matthew 26:41 proclaims to us, "The Spirit is wiling but the flesh is weak." God's gift of Fortitude gives us strength to deny inordinate desires, especially the inordinate desire of excessive eating and drinking. “Their God is their stomach; their glory is in their “shame.” Their minds are occupied with earthly things. But, our citizenship is in heaven. (Philippians 3:19-20) When we go to our “secret room”, our heart, God's New Temple (1 Cor 6:19) in prayer and ask, Our Heavenly Father fills us up with His Gift of Fortitude, strengthening us to overcome the desire to fill up with food instead of Him, for He alone is our God, He alone saves us! Jesus reveals this to us, "My food is to do the will of the One who sent Me." (Jn 4:34) Alleluia!
Gluttony is defined by St. Thomas Aquinas as an “inordinate desire in eating and drinking” (A Tour of the Summa, 148-4) When we, afflicted by the demon of gluttony, become slaves to our appetite of food we can run to our God and He will heal us and take away this inordinate desire with the anointing of His Gift of Fortitude (strength). As God's Word reveals “our stomach is our god.” I don't know about you but I want God to be my God, not food! God has given us the remedy to overcome the sin of partnering with the demon of gluttony and that is ultimately the Holy Eucharist, the White Amulet, the Hidden Manna, the Bread of Life, Himself. (Jn 6:35, Rev 2:17) Through the power of His Holy Spirit the Bread of Life, Jesus, is all we truly need! Alleluia!
Witness to Jesus is the Spirit of Prophesy (Rev 19:10)
“They conquered him (satan) by the Blood of the Lamb and the witness of their testimony. (Rev 12:10-12)
My Witness
I began partnering with the demon of gluttony the day after my mother's passing when I felt a great hunger within me. My friend who was there told me that “food is comfort.” The words out of our mouths, when a soul is vulnerable, (I was very vulnerable at that moment) enter into our hearts and minds forming an understanding, a way of life, a way of coping, a way of dependency. What our Heavenly Father has taught me since that day (4 years ago) is that He alone is our comfort - He, the Holy Spirit, is our Comforter, Consoler, our Deliverer, our Helper… God, is our One True God the Great I Am Who Am - He is our everything! He, Who desires to comfort each one of us. Knowing this we run to Him in prayer to heal us from the sin of Gluttony - all inordinate desire of eating and drinking! Alleluia! 😊
We ask our Heavenly Father to come most powerfully and heal us from the sin of partnering with the demon of gluttony by praying using the Church Approved Unbound Method of Deliverance by Neil Lozano.
The 5 Keys of the Unbound Method of Deliverance by Neil Lozano
1.Repentance and an Act of Faith declaring Jesus as your Lord and Savior. 2.Forgiveness. 3. Renunciation. 4. Authority. 5. The Father's Blessing
1."Jesus, You are alone are my God, I have sinned against You and I am very sorry for doing so. I ask You, my Savior, to save me from the sin gluttony. 2. I ask Your forgiveness for the times when I have partnered with the sin of gluttony and I forgive myself for partnering with gluttony. 3. in Your name Jesus, I renounce the sin of gluttony and make a firm decision to not to partner with it ever again. 4. In Your name Jesus, I take authority over the demon of gluttony and BIND it and cast it out - sending it to the foot of Your Cross for You to do with as You will. 5. In Your Name Jesus I ask the blessing of our Heavenly Father, in the power of Your Holy Spirit, Who is Love Himself, to fill me with Your gift of Fortitude so I am strengthened to eat and drink as You would have me eat and drink and that is right foods/fluids in right amounts, at right times.
Thank you for filling me with Your Gift of Fortitude. For strengthening me in the power of Your love and Truth – that You are all I need and that You are with me always until the end of the age guiding me, teaching me, loving me, filling me up with Yourself, Who is Truth. Thank You for always filling my heart and mind with Truth so that I always hear Your Word and obey Your Word thus remaining united as One Heart and One Mind with You. (Ez 36:26, Jer 31:31-35, 32:38-41, Mark 10:8, Jn 17:21, James 1:22)
This infilling of the Gift of Your Holy Spirit of Fortitude and Truth, my God, leaves no room in my heart for the sin of gluttony. Alleluia! Thank You Lord Jesus for Your love for me for thirsting for my heart as You hung from the Cross. Thank you for dying on the Cross so that I might be continually set free from all sin especially right now of the sin of gluttony! Thank You for pouring out Your Holy Spirit, Who is Love Himself, into my heart filling me with Your Presence Lord of Truth and Fortitude! With You fully alive in me, I need nothing more. Alleluia!
Scripture for Meditation
Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of life; whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst.” (John 6:35)
“‘“Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the victor I shall give some of the Hidden Manna; I shall also give a White Amulet upon which is inscribed a new name, which no one knows except the one who receives it.” (Rev 2:17)
The King of Kings - Then I saw the heavens opened, and there was a white horse; its rider was [called] “Faithful and True.” He judges and wages war in righteousness...He had a name inscribed that no one knows except himself. He wore a cloak that had been dipped in blood, and His name was called the Word of God. The armies of heaven followed Him, mounted on white horses and wearing clean white linen. (Rev 19:11-14)
The Word is Jesus, the fiery Sword of the Holy Spirit enfleshed within our hearts and when we hear and obey His Word we remain in the freedom of His Holy Spirit! Alleluia!
Now, Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! (2 Cor 3:17)
(Eph 6:17,10, 2 Cor 10:3-5, Jn 1:14, James 1:22, Psalm 81:11, Is 50:47, Is 55:11, Ez 37, Matt 10:8, Rev 11:5, Rev 12:10-12, 17)
