Day 6: Led by the Basics (Part 2)
What is essential? What should you place at the center of your life? Did Jesus leave us any clues on what THE priority of our lives should be?
Yes – and He made it crystal clear. To the Pharisees who asked Him for the greatest of all commandments, he replied:
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” *
This is what really matters for Jesus: to love God and our neighbor.
Two questions to ask yourself:
What place do I assign to God in my timetable?
What place do I assign to my neighbor in my timetable?
