Day nine: "Pray the Master of the harvest to send laborers for his harvest"
The Word of God :
Seeing the crowds, Jesus was compassionate to them because they were distraught and exhausted like sheep without a shepherd. He then said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, to send laborers for his harvest.” (Matthew 9, 36-38)
Litany of our Lord Jesus Christ Priest and Victim:
That You would deign to maintain the whole priestly order in holy religion, we beseech You, hear us
That You would deign to send faithful workers into Your harvest, we beseech You, hear us
That through them You would deign to promote the veneration of the Blessed Sacrament everywhere, we beseech You, hear us
Intention of prayer for a priest:
Lord, allow Father N.... and myself to present this petition for priestly and religious vocations so that the Gospel may always be announced and the sacraments celebrated.
Lord, give us priests! Lord, give us holy priests! Lord, give us many holy priests!
